KindPath Collective Inc
Social Media and Communications Policy
Version 1.0 | Effective: 29 August 2026 | Review: 29 August 2027 | Owner: Director
1. Purpose
To protect participant privacy and KindPath’s integrity in public communications, social media, and marketing material.
2. Legislative and standards basis
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth); NDIS Code of Conduct (honesty and transparency).
3. Policy statement
No participant is identifiable in any public-facing material (social media, website, grant submissions, case studies) without their specific, informed, written consent for that specific use — separate from consent to receive support. KindPath does not overstate its registration status, credentials, or evidence base in public communications; see the existing Advocacy Evidence Standard for how claims are labelled (VERIFIED_INSTITUTIONAL / VERIFIED_INTERNAL / UNVERIFIED_RESEARCH).
4. Procedure
- Any participant story, photo, or case study used publicly requires a specific consent form, separate from the service agreement, naming exactly where and how it will be used and for how long.
- A participant can withdraw consent for public use at any time, and material is removed as promptly as practicable.
- Public claims about KindPath’s methodology, evidence base, or registration status are checked against the Advocacy Evidence Standard and current registration reality (see Governance Charter Summary, Section 2) before publishing.
- Workers do not speak publicly (including on personal social media) about specific participants or their support in any identifiable way.
5. Roles and responsibilities
- Director: approves public-facing material referencing participants; ensures claims are accurately labelled.
